Realization of hydrogen society requires multidisciplinary technologies involving the hydrogen generation, transport, storage and applications. Key technologies include nanotechnology, systems design / integration and data modeling / analysis.

At Renewable Energy Conversion Laboratory, we focus on the fundamental research of these technologies such as hydrogen production through electrolysis / reforming, development of fuel cell materials / systems, and physics/data-driven modeling of fuel cell electric systems.
